While I have never personally used a Vario, I'm sitting in 21st Street Coffee and Tea in Pittsburgh right now and while they mainly have Black Cat, they offered an Olympia Big Truck espresso ground on a Vario. The barista said that it's a bit slower than their Mazzer, but as far as quality, it's doing an excellent job.
