Trying to do some maintenance and recalibration on this grinder. I use the tool to rotate the locking mechanism clockwise to the "release" position, but no matter how hard I pull the upper burr won't budge.

Any ideas here?

Mine was tight too. I used a pair or needlenose pliers with a rag on the metal part of the burr holder to pull the top burr out
Kind regards,
Karan

I found rocking the top burr back and forth helps. It's been a while so can't remember if you can do the rocking with the tool or whether you have to use your fingers. Good luck.
