I just got my quite old Baratza Vario back from Baratza repair. I haven't had a chance to try it yet, but I'm super happy with what they did to it. It got a new all metal grind chamber and threaded upper burr carrier, motor, belt, AC board and a ton of other stuff. I purchased the metal brew burr set and it is all installed and ready to roll and I also bought the newer cuttoff hopper to replace the original. Some time ago I'd updated the portafilter holder.

So pretty much, a brand new grinder, functionally anyway, with the Forte style grind chamber.

Looking forward to trying it out.

Wow! What did that cost? I might do the same!

WoW. Forte-style burr chamber ... I have to look into this!
