Okay so I ended up getting the burr alignment tool from a friend, but I can't seem to fit it on the drive shaft of the fixed burr. At least one arm is on the edge of the burr as opposed to all three arms on the outside of the burr. I also can't fully rotate the tool.





Edit: is there a better way to align the fixed burr? Or is there a different version of this tool that's better for older EKs

A simple magnetic indicator holder will sit on the shaft without moving. I think mine was from Amazon ten years ago for 10$.
