1Zpresso ZP6 Special: The ZP6 is back - Page 33
I think that they are busily producing ZP6-max and ZP6-ultras as we 'speak '(along with the base model, too). They must realise that users want this model and they will look to satisfy the market.
Do you think It would be better to wait for these future models? I can't have the special shipped into my country so I'd have to pull favor, I can still wait
That is a very personal question. For me, I pulled the trigger, and would do it again. I had an immediate need for better coffee despite it having what I consider workflow issues (for me).
I think they're out of stock now, and haven't said anything about another model, like a max or ultra, so I would probably get one when it becomes available, but much can, and will always change. The Pietro currently has my interest.

Lol f no.
But in all seriousness, it's like between the ode Gen 2 and ssp mp when it comes to flavor profile.

No, this come from a misunderstanding of what Lance said. He said that the ZP6 is the SSP MP of hand grinders. But he didn't meant that the ZP6 is like the SSP MP, but he meant that the difference between the other hand grinder and the ZP6 is similar than the difference between the other 64mm flat burrs and the SSP MP.Mike0 wrote:Is the general concensus that the zp6 flavour is on par with the ssp MP?
I don't know if they have plans for a future model of the zp6 yet. Maybe a magnetic catch cup?
It should be more like the Cast, Mizen or Sculpture 078 it what we refer to as Juicy burrs. It's sits in between the blending burrs and clarity burrs, meaning also between Ode v2 and MPMike0 wrote:Is the general concensus that the zp6 flavour is on par with the ssp MP?
The Pietro are the equivalent to MP it's probably in fact a tiny bit clearer.
Any recommended grind size setting to use for cupping? If 4.0 to 5.0 is the recommended range for pourover, would 5.0 or 5.5 be a good choice?
