Hey does anyone know where you can buy a heptagonal burr for the Q2 to replace a pentagonal version?

Also for anyone who many have experience with both, does a burr set for the C2 fit the Q2? You can buy C2 heptagonal on AliExpress but wondering if they will fit

1ZPresso is rolling out a bunch of stuff on the 29th. They now show the Q2 7-core on their English-language site at https://1zpresso.coffee/product/q2/ There is also https://1zpresso.com/xpro/ (Chinese only).

Elsewhere, I have seen reference to a burr on AliExpress that looks similar to the Q2 7-core. These are not advertised as being 1ZPresso parts (or even 1ZPresso compatible) and clearly and repeatedly state that "This is not the original accessory!" -- https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3256802450838483.html

Bought those aliexpress burrs out of curiosity. I also have the 1zpresso e 'non-pro' version, which should have the same burr set as the 'original' q2 heptagonal burrs.

The weird thing is that the updated product page for the Q2 heptagonal looks like it has changed the burr set as well, it looks almost exactly like the aliexpress burr set now haha. Even the product page for the 'x-pro' is using the same image as the updated Q2 heptagonal.

I hope its just blunder or mistake, as the original/older burr set for the E and q2 heptagonal, at least in my opinion, tasted much better - more exciting and has more flavor separation and clarity.

Did they fit the Q2 or have they not come in yet?

Looks like the heptagonal is available for $100 now in the US

I don't specifically have the q2, I have the q1 - older version, and the adjustment dial doesn't fit. It works well on the timemore C2.

I had a JE-Plus and it was fantastic... at that time there were just a handful of devices they offered, but in all honesty I think they now are trying to offer too many slight changes/names and based on forums I frequent that confuses many looking into buying one. It's like 'well they have the K-Plus, K-Max and possibly will add a K-Pro Plus Max with ___ burr design that just might be a few microns better than previous offerings!'... I've noticed that they seemed to have done away with the JE-Plus for whatever reason(s) and can't imagine anything they make being any better as it is a solid performer that is nicely built.

It is awesome to see quite a bit of interest in hand grinders, but at the end of the day there's only so much that can effectively be changed with ANY grinder made.
