Reached out to Timemore regarding microns per click and received this reply for comparison.

G1 /Slim /Nano/ G1 Plus/ Slim Plus
0.08 mm = 80 microns per click

Chestnut X
Major dial: 0.08mm = 80 microns per click
Minor dial: 0.015mm= 1.5 microns per click

Versus:

Model----------------JE---JE-Plus--JX-Pro--J-Max
Microns Per Click---25--12.5------12.5-----8.8

Q2, JS, JX -- 10 numbers on the dial, 30 clicks per round. Not sure of the microns per click. (see below 25 microns per click)
Between order and chaos there is espresso.
Semper discens.

In short, the burr designs of Q2 and JX grinders are different.
However, it shared the same Internal adjustment design as 30 clicks per rotation, 3 clicks per number and 25 microns per click.

To summarize microns per click we have so far

Timemore:
G1/Slim/Nano/G1Plus/SlimPlus/ChestnutX(outer) 80
ChestnutX(inner) 15
1ZPresso:
Q2,JS,JX,JE 25
JE-Plus,JX-Pro 12.5
J-Max 8.8

*1 micron equals .001 millimeter

Can't speak to comparisons with other 1Zpresso grinders, but for $89 the Q2 is a well-built little grinder that fits nicely into my AeroPress for travel. I lean toward more immersion brew recipes with my AeroPress, and there is more than enough grind latitude with the Q2 for this.
