Mahlkonig E65s clogging after cleaning

My shop has an e65s that I clean weekly. Every few weeks after cleaning, the grinder will immediately clog up. When I take it apart it will be caked in grounds.

I've tried calibrating further from the chirp point, using an air duster to remove any grounds below the rotating burr, and reassembling and starting at the coarsest setting. It still causes issues.

Has anyone had similar issues and had any success?

This is common to the Mahlkonig K30 & E65s series and others. Much of the problem is related to the clump breakers and the chute caking up.

It's a design element that needs improvement.
