I've been so into drip lately that I have not used my E61. It's plumbed in. It's been sitting off without turning on for about 2 months. Is that a problem for water inside, or mineralization? Any potential to harm the machine? (ECM Synchronika)

My understanding is that Portland's water is very soft. So, I doubt you'd have anything to worry about. I've left water in my machines for a month or 6-weeks from time to time. I just dump the reservoir before leaving, refill on coming home, flush a few shots through and that's all. No harm has come to me or my machines  Since your machine is plumbed in, you won't have the reservoir with which to be concerned. So, I'd flush a few shots and carry on as usual.

What Nunas said & I would personally do short flushes (to save the pump) and flush an amount roughly equal to the volume of water in each boiler.

I've left water in for a couple of years with no issues. Just flushed both boilers with a bunch of fresh water and it worked just fine.
