I have a 1ZPresso MAX and find when grinding lighter beans, the grinding can get a little troublesome - not a problem with the cranking, but holding on to the grinder body. The diameter of the grinder, arthritic fingers setting in.

Was thinking of removing the silicone wrap...anyone done that?

Anyone have any ideas for improving grip on a hand grinder. Was thinking of adding some sort of strap that would wrap around the back of my hand so when cranking, it would apply pressure and actually improve grip. Ideas?

I have a JE-Plus and have a similar problem holding on to the body. Gently moistening the left hand, especially the V between the thumb and forefinger helps. I have tried using a silicone rubber band and found it somewhat useful.

My 2 sister using anti slip gloves when using their Timemore G1 grinder, very useful and cheap.
