I automated my Bonavista kettle

I have a Robot and sometimes I preheat my piston, so ideally I have boiling water when I enter my kitchen so that I can set that to do it's thing while I grind and tamp etc. However, my bonavista kettle isn't smart plug compatible, since it has a button on top that starts it boiling.
So I bought a Switchbox, which is just a battery powered wireless button pusher, and designed and 3D printed a holder for it that attaches to the kettle (it comes with adhesive, but there was no place to stick it on the kettle base). The kettle still sits perfectly flat on the counter. Now I can have it turn on when I wake up, and by the time I'm downstairs I have nicely boiling water. It's definitely function over form, but for me it's a game changer. I put it on Thingiverse if anyone feels like it would be helpful.
