Hello Radical Roasters,
Just loud thinking...
Can I have a one Green bean and have 2 totally separate roasted finished product??
Hypothetical example - I have a fruity natural processed green bean (Arabica coffee) , can I do a light-medium roast to enjoy the fruity - acidity of the coffee and may be a darker roast to enjoy the carmel / chocolate notes of the coffee?
From most of the tutorials I have seen online, they say that most fruity notes completely vanish once the coffee hits the darker profile. Has anyone tried it? and can share their experience or guidance please ?

This is commonly called a melange roast and I've seen several posts about doing this on this forum.

This thread might be relevant, although it mostly talks about blending different varieties: What coffees are you blending? - Theory and Practice
