I realize I can get a Chinese product for less money, I am ok with paying more for made in the USA that performs great. I just would like to avoid paying a higher price that is usually associated with a grinder capable of use for espresso.

Thanks for any suggestions you can offer.
Cheers,
Patrick

AFAIK, there are none currently manufactured in the USA, nor are components like burrs currently manufactured in the USA.

AFAIK, the last manual grinders manufactured in the USA were the the first versions of the Pharos and Lido made by Orphan Espresso. However, even those grinders used burrs made outside the USA. (Current Orphan Espresso grinders are made in Taiwan.)

And the HG-1/HG-2 are imported as well. While the Webber WS stuff is not USA made the quality is there and the company is a real stand up organization that stands by the customer and the product.
