What's so special about Ceado E5SD ?

Naively I thought it is just a Ceado E5P with the hopper replaced by a rubber handpump. If so why is it twice more expensive ?

It is not special, but it is a step between Niche and Lagom P64.

That being said, it is not a zero retention grinder if you just follow the steps on WLL YouTube channel - you have to do a bit more for that.

On a positive side, it is built better than Niche, and it is a flat burr grinder. I brew medium to light roasts and it works extremely well with my Profitec Pro 300 inspite of it not having a preinfusion. Every cap is mouthwatering - no milk , no sugar, just plain goodness. I waste no coffee - it does not have to be purged in the morning, with every cap having the same taste.

Good build quality. But by no means pretty grinder too. And the workflow is more convenient.

I would grab a Eureka Oro Single Dose in stead of the Ceado if you prefer a flat burr SD grinder. And save a lot of money.
