Title kinda says it all but my Nuova Simonelli Mac 2000 V doesn't pull shots after being in storage for two years.

Just some precursor information:

Yes I drained it properly before putting it in storage.
The boiler heats up properly and the steam wand and hot water dispenser both work.

The only thing that isn't working is the group head. It slowly drips water but doesn't actually push enough water through.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Assuming you can hear the pump running, my first guess would be the pump needs priming.

In looking for what pump type is has, I found this that may help you in the future Restoring Nuova Simonelli MAC 2000V Single Group (there are also a couple of posts at the end about getting a machine running after storage)

Thanks for the link to the post!

I'm not sure how I would prime the pump on this machine. I already have water flowing too it, and the pump takes water to the boiler. When I pull a shot the pump turns on and it begins churning but no water comes out.

Is there a priming the pump step that I'm missing?
