SM Kenya Nyeri Rukira AA roasting

According to the Greens Alert thread, this 93.6 scoring beast flew off the shelf at Sweet Maria's in under 12 hours. I was lucky to snag 4 lb of it.

Here's my first attempt. Huky 400T:


I was remiss by not killing the gas mid 1C, causing that little flick at the end right before drop. Hopefully it doesn't impact the roast too much.

Interested to see how others get on, and if this one lives up to the hype.

Yep, please report back. I saw it too but after buying two different lots of recent SM Kenya Nyeri peaberries I couldn't justify this one too! If the peaberries I have are any quide the Rukira should be excellent!

Yeah, excited to hear -- UPS shipping special out of oakland seems to average like 10 days from ordering to get to the east coast, so still waiting on mine.
