Setting up my Elektra Semi Automatica after moving abroad, I can't seem to get the steam wand to give out 100% steam, but more like 70% steam and 30% water. Any clues? Is it connected to the water level in the boiler? Too much? Any tips appreciated

Perhaps some scale or solidified milk has broken off during the move and is partially blocking the tube or tip or the valve. That was what was causing poor steaming performance on my Elektra when I bought it used.

If you're getting wet steam, try lowering the steam boiler level to about halfway. Also double check that the water level sight glass is working correctly; due to scale buildup, the sight glass may get clogged at the bottom and its reading will no longer match the actual steam boiler water level.

Thanks. I think the problem is now a little too much water in the boiler
