New here but I need some help repairing my Giotto, if possible. I recently had gotten water inside my machine and it shorted the circuit board. I replaced it and the relay. It now turns on and the pump works but it does not heat up or pressure up. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Welcome to HB.

Have you checked to see if there is a red reset button on the boiler that might have tripped?

Double check the electrical wiring.

Be sure the machine is unplugged while doing this!

So I tried that advice and it did not work. The button is in the depressed position. I had someone look at it and they said voltage is now going to the boiler/heating element. Would that need replacement?

Thank you

You would have to measure the resistance across the heater element leads with a digital VOM after removing one of the element leads for an accurate measurement to be sure.

Please unplug the machine before doing anything!
