Alas it's a tradeoff. Super-automatic = super convenient, not super espresso. Like I said to Wassim, good espresso takes a bit of fussing. With practice the "fussing" takes just a few minutes. You may like the super-automatic under the tree, just don't make the mistake of comparing it against an exceptional espresso. With added milk and sugar, the super-autos are much better than the Bunn drip coffee in our employee break room. It's all relative.

Why do we pay the BIG PRICE then, when we buy Super Automatic?

In a wonderful world, super automatic should compromise a bit of its AUTOMATIC feature for the quality of their shots :-)
