I went with this filter based on Pat's recommendation due to my high chloride water

KH 53.7
Chloride 21

I suspect the hardness is zero and the sodium is high which is why I'm tasting salt in all my shots.

I have been using the RPavlis water recipe (80 mg sodium bicarbonate per liter of Zero Water) in my Decent, for safety (no risk of scale or corrosion). I just don't want to ever have to descale. Or have pitting.

However I might consider recipies with greater KH if it is safe...
