So I cleaned the solenoid and the water fill sensor, and it didn't fix the problem. Since this only happens when machine is cold, I am of the opinion that this is some sort of mechanical problem (of course, I could be wrong!)
In any case, does anyone have any parts they might change out to begin with (solenoid? Capacitor? etc.) It's much cheaper for me to buy a few replacement parts than to send the machine in.
