Good luck - Post back.

Unfortunately these boards are hard to repair at the component level as they are often double sided circuit boards with surface mount components. They are expensive to replace as they are custom, small production runs and can't be substituted. The manufacturer has you over a barrel - even if the high price is justified.

Any luck getting this fixed? I also have a Compak E5, and I have the exact same problem that you are describing in your post. It would be great to hear how or if you were able to solve it.

I'm in the same boat- it happened after the original battery went dead- replaced it. Date and time now are saved, but I can't retain doser times for the different shots.
