The same problem has shown up on my Profitec Pro 500 (E61/HX) at the 4 year mark (~4000 espressos). Let us know if the pump fix worked. My solenoid to the boiler is normally closed so I don't think that's it.

Now the Strega works normally. Even after idling hot for a period the pump starts immediately.

Problem solved :D
