They served me a ristretto that was battery acid. I asked why I didn't get a standard double and the guy said "We serve all our espressos as ristrettos. We just think it's better" I won't order espresso there again, but they do a decent pour over and french press. I've taken a tasting class there and the roasts were all so light I thought it all looked and tasted like tea. Zero richness or body. I just don't know why a medium-dark roast is so forbidden in all the local hipster coffee shops. I always ask and the answer I invariably get is: "We just don't do darker roasts." The translation is: "We're too hip for that, Boomer." :)

Heh, sounds like they have gone further down the rabbit hole since I was there last. Like I said been a few years.
