Wow that is an impressive looking RoR! I've never been able to achieve a steadily declining RoR on the Hottop although I'm still trying to figure out how to really use the fan. Out of curiosity, what level i the fan at as you head into and during 1st crack? Also I'm surprised at the amount of changes to the heater during 1st crack. Do you find that many changes to be useful given the time it takes for the heating element to "catch up"? I'd be interested in hearing the reasoning behind this approach. Most importantly how'd the coffee taste!!??

Here is my most recent roasts. I have been trying to figure out why my fan and power will not display my changes properly in Artisan. Iv tried several different things. Also I always try to avoid that flick on the end of my ROR. haven't cupped this one so not sure how it turned out.

I just wanted to add that this last roast of mine was only 170g charge. I'm trying to get the ideal profile with this been before roasting larger batches.
