Long shot here, but does anyone know the thread pitch sizing for a heating element? The threads in the boiler need to be tapped badly!
I know quite a few are the same, but it's a Marzocco steam boiler element, like the one in the attached photo. It measures about 41.5mm, or 1-5/8" in diameter.

Many thanks in advance!

I would suggest visiting a local machinist. He will most likely have a set of thread pitch gauges to determine the pitch. He may also have a thread micrometer (measures the thread depth not outside diameter) those values will give you the proper dimensions for the tap required to chase the threads of the boiler.

Well in case anyone finds this useful, here's the size (I imagine it's common for many brands):

1-5/8" x 11 TPI

See this: /downloads/ ... etrics.pdf

It is very likely 1-1/4-11 BSPP.
