Equipment: Kafatek Monolith Conical grinder, Linea Mini (with 0.6mm jet and slightly reduced brew pressure)
Dose 17.5-18g
Pull time 28s-30s
Beverage weight 32-34 grams
Rest 6-8 days from roast date.
Pulls very evenly and nicely. Plenty of extraction allows for smaller doses.
Tasting notes:
Toasted brown sugar, clove. Slightly more roasted than I typically go for. However, not at all over-roasted, no burned notes or smoke. Better in milk than on its own in my opinion. Good body and lingering flavors.

Nice, thanks for the observations. I just picked up a bag of 1950 myself, but I'm planning to use it mostly for pour over brew. It's a bit long in the tooth for good espresso (roasted almost a month ago, bought a bag at the local coffee shop without checking the date).
Lock and load!

Thanks for the review, Nuke. Is it reminiscent of anything else you've tried in the past few months?

Not really - I've been on an Africa kick. Rwanda especially - sweet as candy and floral.
This coffee is good in its own way. Toasty sugar and clove. But I miss the Rwandan.
