Hello everyone!!!

I have bought a pack of coffee from a local roaster "Kafischmitte" - La Sinfonia, in Switzerland!

I tried a double espresso (16gr) with Wonderful crema and Taste!

When I try to have 2 espresso with 16gr, the result is catastrophic, thin crema that goes away and the fruity taste is not so strong:

What is the Problem?

Are using a double spouted portafilter for both shots? Or just a naked portafilter?

16 grams is the correct dosage for a double shots (double basket).

18-21g is the correct dosage if you split your shots into two separate cups. You may need a triple basket for this.

What you seem to be doing is you use the same amount of coffee for two different drink quantities, which means you have to run your shots longer to be able to get 2 espressos, or you just run it about the same time. Either way, the flavors or cream consistency will be affected.

That is a horrible roast based on your photo. Uneven roast and scorched beans. Either a bad batch from the roaster, or the roaster does not know how to roast.
