Your boss has been quite generous. Get everyone else to kick in 100 bucks. Then am sure you will have no problem coming up with something suitable in the 900 to 1000 range.

Recently got a Monolith Conical paired with a Linea Mini;had an F4 for about 6 months that my son now has. As I told him, " I really like the Monolith and it will continue to get better with break-in, however It also made me realize how good the F4 is for the money".
The F4 was a huge improvement from the La Cimbali Jr. Grinder that I had for 10 years and based on the Monolith, it is a huge bargain!
