Would it detract from the conversation if I asked a selfish question? I am looking at similar options to OP. I have a connection that might be able to get me a factor refurbished GS3 for $4500. The other option I'm considering is getting a 2 group double boiler Faema lever machine from the 1950's that has been completely refurbished . I really like how the old ones look but I haven't experienced the performance of either. Any thoughts or recommendations on this?
