Here is my old post from 2012. This is an electric model with hand crank option.
Retsel Mill-Rite
The grinder with metal burrs can handle coffee. You can even make peanut butter. For coffee, it is just not as convenient, but workable. Briefly I considered the Mahlkonig EG43, way before a lot of people! It is just too big for the kitchen.
