Profitec Pro 700 with Burn Me Wand

Anyone modify their Pro 700 from no burn wand to burn me wand?

I did by changing to a La Marzocco GB5 wand to accommodate a Sproline Steam Knife tip... worked very well.

Yep that is my plan too...you both using the Knife tip? Also, I have only be able to find the arm in a brass finish.

Seems like I guess I could just pull out the insert, but then I would not be able to change the tip to a knife.

Yeah foam knife as well. I pulled out the insert first and it was a big difference in steam power. Do that and then turn it up on the pid. Try that for a while before switching. The only reason I switched arms was to use the foam knife.
