Just something I've been messing with recently to shave some time of my immersion brews and look for new profiles is Americano-style, and it's been yielding great cups. Basically just making a very concentrated immersion brew (I aim for 1.70 TDS / 20% Ext) and then dilute with water (I usually go down to 1.40 TDS). I've been loving the cups. It's basically the original recipe. I know some brewers cup people have done things like this. Who else has been doing this? Any tricks you've found?

Dilute with ice instead of water... Shake it up to dissolve ice in the hot coffee and enjoy on a hot day. Sweet!
