I would like ask some advice and instructions on how to descale my Nuova Simonelli Appia 2 compact. Is there a way to gauge the amount of CaCO3 development inside the boiler? It has been running on filtered water, nearly 10k shots, 10 months in use. There's just a gap in my operations, and this is a good time to run the descale.

It's a copper boiler heat exchanger. It's said to be treated for it not to corrode.

I have a few packets of Cafetto right here.
