Air popper hack

Have an old WestBend popper I've been roasting in, but wanted to control the heat and fan speed independently, so took it all apart and reconfigured in a new housing that seemed more appropriate. I took out the popper's fan and hacked an old hairdryer. A PVC elbow connects it all together.
Works a champ, but is still limited to a half cup of beans at a time. Can do up to a cup but the roast is not as even. Roast times are longer than with the original popper config, but no issues with hot spots or divots. Right now the fan speed and heat controls are external, but will build them inside this old grinder box when some new parts from Amazon arrive.

There may be a chance for some beans to fly out though..

It could be as complex or as simple as you want. It's the choice of the barista.
