I switched to the Bonavita Immersion brewer for work from the plastic Clever a while back. Although it's heavy to tote around, I find it totally worth the weight. I may try this with a new Ecuadoran from Kuma.

I'd like to move from Aeropress to Bonavita when travelling too. I've had a few embarrassing accidents with the Aeropress but I think I've narrowed them down to super hot steam knifing my steadying hand during a plunge so bought a different mug.

I also had an odd idea about freezing one origin or roast level of coffee and using it as ice in another so the flavour evolves as it melts. Could be added to this drink after as the ice in the recipe is basically consumed in the process.

Wish I was living in the Bay Area. Brutal up here this weekend.

This sounds really good, definitely going to give it a try. Summertime is in full swing here now! Thanks for the recipe.

Please share any experiences or variations. The light roast Colombian I had this morning was very sweet and rich.

I've tried this a couple times now, and have to say it makes a darned good cup of ice coffee. Actually I think the natural Ethiopian I have right now tastes better made like this than it does with my normal hot brewing method.

Very refreshing on a hot afternoon. 8)
