Hi there!

I have a vintage (between 1955-65) Steiner electric coffee grinder. It's a thing of beauty and we purchased it for about $100 from the previous owner who had cleaned the thing out pretty thoroughly. The only issue is that it appears to have at least 20 year old and very worn burrs. Does anyone have any advice as to where I could find any replacement burrs? I would really love to be able to use it.

Note: I am not confident enough in myself to take the machine apart to see what kind of/size burrs it needs, the previous owner offered to help with this.

If the fixed burr is a breaker or ghost burr then the old ones will function just fine. The vast majority of those grinders will never grind for espresso as that level of grind was not popular when that grinder was designed. Works well for perk, drip, french press, pour over. etc though. That is probably older than the 50s as well.
