I'm finding that I don't even need to shake the Blind Shaker to get good results. I'm using a Mahlgut MG-1 and I always get a uniform pile of fluffy, non-clumpy grounds from it. So the shaker is an excellent distribution tool for me with the spinning plug aspect - but since I have a grinder that doesn't suffer from clumping issues, I guess in retrospect I could have saved myself $20 and gotten the Blind Timbler instead. Oh well, the shaker can be used in the same manner and I can always revert to shaking if need be.

With the MG-1 that indeed works but not for the HG One. A friend of mine is now using my blind tumbler with his MG-1 and as you said doesn't need to shake or stir, just transfer and pull the plug. With the HG One I needed to stir with the tumbler and now shake with the shaker and bot work fine, altough the shaker works even better.
