I'm not at all sure but this page might shed light on your question.

Also I just noticed that on the Roast Properties there is a BATCH box.
Maybe that has some relevance too?

My shots in the dark may be useless, but they are things that come to mind regarding "batch"

When I try to export a roast ranking report in 0.9.9, every batch is labeled as 0, which also makes it difficult to read the graph with all of the temperature curves. In the roast properties, the batch field is blank and greyed out so I can not edit it. I did go to the Config - Batch... menu but the changes didn't seem to be reflected in the roast ranking report or roast properties.
Under menu Config >> Batch, you turn the batch counter on and set a prefix. Each roast will get a batch number assigned (if the counter is turned on) on DROP and the counter is increased by one. You see the batch number in the Roast Properties dialog (if the counter is turned on), however you cannot change it. In case you need to "fix" the batch number assigned to a roast profile, you can right-click on the time clock in the upper right corner to turn the "super" mode on. That makes the batch counter editable.

So DROP needs to be marked for it to work correctly?

Yep. The idea is that only completed roasts should increase the counter.

Have an issue with displaying a temperature.
Have installed Artisan to Windows10 laptop. Use it with MS6514. Thermometer displays temperature correctly (ex., 26C), but Artisan displays it 10times lower (2.6C). How could it be fixed?

Update: Fixed. The issue was in device settings. There were set termocouple type R by default. Changed to K and everything is fine now.

Can anyone confirm if Artisan will run on Windows 10 Home edition.
Im asking because I'm a mac user for 10+ years using Artisan with Mac.
I need a secondary computer to run Artisan, which is why I'm going for a budget PC laptop.

THANK YOU to anyone who can answer if Artisan latest version runs on Windows 10 :)
