My espresso grinder is the easiest thing I have to adjust and it's set up for single dossing. One full turn out gives approx. .100" separation on the burrs, so I just spin it out one turn, grind them and while it still running, I run it back down to .008', the grind setting I'm using for these.
If I find I'm going to be doing much of it, I'm just going to set the old Rocky grinder up to do the first grind.
The espresso grinder has been modified to have basically zero grounds retention, and especially anything that large so I don't have to worry about boulders being in my espresso grounds.
