So i picked up a GF Junior rotisserie the other day at value village for a few bucks and decided to try to make a simple roaster setup. I plugged it in as it was and let it run for a bit only reaching about 360 degrees. I found an older toaster in garage and took the top elements out and wired them placing them just under the drum in the bottom. Also adding some tinfoil covering part of the window.

I didn't check the current with the stock element but with the addition its running about 1600w now, enough that the lights flicker when the ssr starts to cycle.

Second time hit 450 in about 7 minutes. I have the elements on a separate power cord so i can plug that into my pid box that i have setup for when you feel the urge to pid your waffle maker.

Trying to locate some green beans to test it out now.

Im using the basket that came with it right now, might add some more fins inside for agitation, but my only concern is that drum speed is only about 3 rpm, i feel thats way lower than it should be.
