How do you like the heavier grease? Does it make for longer grease intervals? Do you think it's more appropriate for this application? I service once a month right now and am just looking for your opinion to decide if heavier lube would be better or not for me.drgary wrote:Several of us are going to much heavier lube than DOW 111 for longevity... I don't have enough information to advise you because I switch between machines. It makes sense to me that in this application there's a lot of pressure on a small surface area so that heavier grease that stays in place is a better choice.

Makes sense to me too. My main concern is using a non-food grade grease even though contamination is unlikely.
