Hi guys
Trying to rebuilt the group
Received 2 different cams one with and one without pin at the end . The problem is the lobe is bigger than my original one. I am sure I have the correct one since I compared with someone local who has the same machine.
Anyone knows where I can source an original one.
The bigger one binds
Thanks
Erick

Have you tried Faema or Café Union on Jean Talon West, or Espresso Mali on St-Laurent, all within a very short distance from each other?

Yes I do have an E61 Izzo Alex Duetto III that was purchased at Chris' Coffee. Maybe they might have a suggestion.
Looking at your interests, might you know someone with a machine shop that could make one?
I'd be glad to help if I can think of anything...

But you really need to develop a "bucket list" as shipping can be expensive for single parts.

Thanks Eric
Was told by Ryan at espresso parts that with or without pin measures the same. My cam is smaller

Well, . . . OK.
It seems as though you need a cam that does NOT have the pin extension UNLESS you have a machined hole in the cam housing. The larger extension of the cam (your original part?) simply serves as a spacer to properly position the cam with respect to the brew valve and pre-infusion valve.
Take some pics and measurements of your cam housing diameter and I can measure mine. Also measure the length of your valves.

I took measurements of a Quickmill Anita fitted with a standard E-61 grouphead. Considering the cam to be a modified oval, the following applies:
Major Diameter = 20.32 mm
Minor Diameter = 17.15 mm
Housing Bore = 28.20 mm
On previous measurements I made, the cam lifts the brew valve 1/16" or approximately 1.60 mm.
What exactly is "wrong" with the original cam you have?
