My heating element sticks on and pops the safety release valve. It only happens after turning on first thing each morning and warming the machine up from cold. The display shows that it is NOT commanding the element to stay on, but it continues heating beyond the set point until...
Hello everyone, I'm hoping you can help me because I'm almost at my wits end with my espresso machine. Some backstory, I bought a used Izzo Alex HX machine that was built in 2010 from the original owner. It needed some work which I knew when I bought it, and after I got it...
I was dumb and left water dispenser valve open on my Alex Leva.
Then it turned on automatically in the morning and emptied self, and emptied the bottle water supply, and now the heating element won't turn on. I'm hoping problem is that safety thermostat needs to be switched,...

I am reluctantly selling my espresso machine as I am moving to Europe and it would be difficult to transport and convert the voltage from 110 to 220. The machine was manufactured in 2019 and is in excellent condition. There are no dents and perhaps only some minor rubs on the...
Never liked the idea of a steel socket to be used in a delicate cylinder bore.
After using a piece of PVC for almost 10 years here's the first printed one.
This will probably only make sense to Alex Leva owner, who have changed the piston seals.
When the piston is released it touches the screen in the bottom. I recently changed the teflon ring and the rubber gasket. But I think it was always like this, it's just a little bit worse...
I have been a member for a while and learnt so much from everyone's contributions, thank you all for that!
I just took delivery last week of a brand new Izzo Alex Leva and absolutely love it. Once I took my pink glasses off (ok, they are still on..), I noticed...
I am new to this forum (on any forum) and became recently the happy owner of a used Alex Leva with LSM group.
I noticed that the portafilter does not completely fit in the group because Izzo supplies this machine with a 6mm ring instead of the original 5.5mm from La San Marco....
I purchased my Alex Leva in 2014 and have been using it regularly since. I'm curious what routine other owners have for powering theirs on and off, since the LSM group takes a bit of time to fully heat up.
Myself, I never ended up finding a timer, so I usually just fire it up...
Has anyone ever installed the optional external pump on an Izzo Alex Leva? The Izzo manual gives zero detail of pump size or pump motor power. I'm using a BWT system on domestic water feed right now, but will be moving soon and I'm anticipating not being able to plumb things in....
