Capucio Prince?

I think Gensaco rebrand Zacconi machines. This one seems to be Zacconi Baby Lusso or Riviera Espresso (baby version, no spring). The main difference from Pavoni is that the basket ...

Gensaco Capucio

{link} The Capucio looks to be a rebadged Zacconi - what they call a "Baby Big" or a "Riviera". Gensaco dont appear to manufacture any machine of their own, but simply rebadge. {link} What pricing are you looking at? If it is around the $1,300 as per gensaco link, then you are

La Pavoni vs. Ponte Vecchio

Hi John-- I started out with a spring lever (La Riviera) but eventually went to a La Pavoni Europiccola because I prefer having more control over the shot rather than having the spring dictate the outcome. I have been VERY happy with my Pavoni...and coming onto this site over the past several weeks ...

La Riveria Makeover

OK...thanks, Doug. Chris Cara says that the direct lever Zacconi will fit the Riviera...so there is always that possibility. However, I have been swayed to the side of simply putting the Riviera back in working order and using it as originally designed. ...

La Riveria Makeover

The new groups do not use the same portafilter and basket as the old ones, they are 49mm nominal measurement not the old style 45mm nominal, so besides the group you will need a new portafilter and basket if you go for a

Zacconi Riviera Baby Lusso Shot Volume

The baby is kindof weird in a way. It uses a w seal on the bottom and the specs call for a v seal on the top of the piston, as there is no rod seal. If you are having blowby the seal you could try taking them out and lubing the back side when

New to Lever Machines - is it supposed to be like this?

I recently picked up a Riviera (Zacconi) Baby used lever machine. {link} It's my first time using a lever and I'm not sure I'm doing it correctly. Coming from a E61 pump machine it seems that there is a very small amount of water per pull. So this is what I am currently doing: Turn
