LMWDP Rollcall
Howdy! I got my little Zacconi almost 2 years ago, and oh boy it has completely evolved my understanding of espresso. I loved brewing on my Gaggia Classic because it was strangely formulaic: Input, output, time. I thought it was so simple, ...

Zacconi Baby: Best Practice?
I used to have one of those but I am far from expert in its use. I also have a Europiccola and used that for 20 years or so but these days I only use the open-boiler VAM. For me the big advantage of the Zacconi was the quality of materials used. The shiny base doesn't rust out the

OD for IMS filter basket Europiccola new group
Hey! I'm getting a new filter basket for my Zacconi Baby Riviera lever. It has a lot in common with the old group Europiccola and at one time I had both machines. I was able to use the PF of the Europiccola in the Zacconi but had to use the Zacconi filter basket as it has a flat lip

Olympia Cremina Purchase
In general I'm writing about the practice of maxing out the dose on a machine with a 58mm group and considering that the acceptable standard, with less being not enough. I can see a large shot making sense for a large milk drink, but I'm not a fan of supersizing food portions. As most of you already...

Gaskets for Zacconi Riviera
I sold my Zacconi also but the pictures are still on this site. It was a "Baby" from around 2015. What I notice is that the base does not actually touch the boiler. It has a hole that is slightly larger diameter than the boiler. {image} If you look a the photos of the base in this thread, the

Gaskets for Zacconi Riviera
I'm not sure I've seen parts diagram for older baby machines. It's funny of all the parts diagrams I've seen, have never seen a list of those parts included. Does your baby have a gasket above the base like this one? Some some of separation/insulation at least. {image}

Gaskets for Zacconi Riviera
... and the second shows one, which is part 23. From the first page of this post it looks like Lamacchinadelcaffe.com is a good source, and they're a Zacconi dealer. At least the boiler gasket 53 appears on "this
