Refurbishing a Zacconi Rivera

I have a Riviera Espresso / Zacconi Baby and it uses a 49mm portafilter. The shower screen on it is closer to 48mm. I also have a spring-driven Sama Export that uses a 45mm portafilter. The shower screen on that one is 44mm. The group looks similar to a spring-driven Zacconi

What are the non-spring lever machines out there?

My Zacconi Baby is a direct lever without a spring, similar to the La Pavoni Pro. I just got a Arrarex Vam 1.0 (aka Caravel) that is also a direct lever. I have found Aloe's article helpful: {link} Francesco's website is a treasure trove of information about levers: {link}
