10 Stage RO Water Filter (Alkaline Filter) Advice

I have something "similar" in my kitchen I think. You would have to test it yourself on a regular basis to determine if its within the ranges. I do agree the water tastes great. I don't use it for my espresso though. I didn't want to deal with variable results as the cartridges wear. Hence I use my Espresso Cart...

A simple solution for single dosing the Baratza Forte

Hi everyone. I made a "beautifully formatted post over on Adobe Spark", but I will copy paste below: (Scroll down for the solution, these intro paragraphs are just background). For those of us who single dose our coffee beans, the hopper on the Forté leaves a lot to be desired. The beans can get stuck behind the metal spokes and...

Kafatek Pre-Orders for July 11

30 seconds is pretty accurate. I scored a max with Apple Pay and was checked out with a confirmation within about 20 seconds. Then just out of curiosity I immediately clicked the preorder link again and they were sold out already.

1974 Olympia Cremina - issues

Hi Omer, Regarding your coffee splatter when you open the PF, just raise the lever 1/3 of the way up before you open the PF. This will relieve the pressure at the puck and it will not spray you.

Another Mazzer Mini to Super Jolly burr mod

{image} My 64Mini grinds like a workhorse. Very much quicker and consistent ! For single origin coffee beans with same sizes and roast, shot dial ins are fairly easy. But with bean blends, getting in the first time isn't so easy and can be more than 2 shots out to get superior extraction and taste out. As for shot qualities;...

Medium-light roasts tasting sour since equipment upgrade?

Moderator Note: Discussion split from "Monolith - End of Year Production Run Changes" Now you got me wondering if I should've bought the conical. I bought a Synchronika a few months ago; was using the Mazzer mini (conical burrs), and I really liked the shots (I make cappuccinos; which is the only way I can discuss coffee flavors). But the...

Post a pic of your home espresso setup...

{image} The ever dynamic setup has the cat interested. I got the PV Lusso 2 two weeks ago and I love it - super easy to use, lovely shots, and two group heads is fantastic for multiple people. I found the NS Mythos 1 CP nearby for a very good price considering it was in service for only one year...
