Decent Espresso Shipping to Canada

/edit A conversation of this sort comes from the fact that it just feels like a premium because of where you live instead of something more valuable. I'm in Toronto, Montreal is not local to me and most Canadians. It would effectively feel identical to shipping it off to Hong Kong.

Frustrated by bitter espresso...

Still working on some variables like temp, but wanted to update for today. I pulled a 14 gram shot with the stock double basket. -Machine heated 30+ mins -Used an 8 on the grinder, which got me about 28 grams in 25 seconds -Took nearly 12 seconds to see a flow. Agreed.. even if the machine were available for local purchase/service, I doubt that the premium would be warranted ... I think this is a oversight since the FX adjustment is really quite a blunt mechanism for recovering higher potential support costs ... Thank-you for the link... Michael pretty well covers it. A new grinder is still going to be making espresso. In addition to what he suggests, a better grinder will have less variability. You best shots will be better and also your poorer shots will be closer to your better shots. In my experience over the years, with espresso blends of a decade or more...
