Niche Zero vs Mazzer Super Jolly SSP

It is interesting how each person's taste buds differ, i.e., when I had my Super Jolly I thought it was fantastic for medium to dark roasts (with stock Mazzer burrs). By the way, I love your La Peppina with the pressure gauge!!

Issues with Center 306 and Artisan working

And remember that the recommended sampling rate for center devices is four seconds. The bottom line is they don't play well with Artisan and best I know they have not updated the driver for Mac Big Sur.

How connect Arduino D1 to Artisan?

If you have access to the source code that your Arduino board is running, you can write an emulator for the TC4 board, which just so happens to be my solution for my roaster. I'd be happy to help you with this if you drop me a PM.

Goal: A Huky 500 with digital controls and display

Interesting concept! Though I would think the bean mass has enough churn that on average the entire mass is mixed thoroughly versus having a distinct mass that never gets mixed that is one temp vs the remainder of the mass. Also, when the beans are dropped the coloring is consistent across the entire bean mass. Here is a pic of...

What are alternatives ways to use my La Marzocco Linea Mini, if I dont have a proper grinder

Hi I just got the LMLM in black friday deal. I used to use small delonghi coffee machine and blade grinder to make coffee. Now I realised that blade grinder doesn't work well for LM. But I am about to move to another country in 3months time, I dont really want to buy another big heavy machine to cause more...

Cheap (level) tamper

I bought a cheap push tamper but the problem I find is that switching coffee requires you to adjust the height. I bought a cheap level tamper for work from amazon that I think does a nice job. {link}

Lelit Bianca User Experience

Yep...if anything, water dispensed from either boiler should be identical. The only way water in the steam water could get contaminated is by failing to purge the steam wand after steaming milk. When the machine is turned off and the boiler cools down it will draw any milk left in the steam wand back into the boiler where it can...

Rancilio Silvia V2 for $225 a good buy?

Hi Jeff, Thank you for the helpful reply! I'm looking for a good budget espresso machine. In this price range most are SB without PID as far as I've seen. I probably will fit a PID eventually if I buy a Silvia. The Robot is really cool, but I do enjoy me some milk drinks sometimes and therefore I'd like...

My experience with the Kinu pourover burr is that you have to taste the results blinded to appreciate the cup quality. It may well leave an ugly-looking bed in a V60 after draw-down, but you don't drink the grinds.
