Turn your espresso machine into a controllable smart device with app/Alexa/Google.

We've been using a Wemo for years now that does virtually the same without voice commands. Works great!

Breville Barista BES870XL Won't Pressurize

It looks for me that you need to dial-in your grinder. Try to graduately set it to coarser setting. Probably the puck is too dense and there's not enough time for water to pass through. On the second attempt water pass freely via broken puck (pressure release often cracks the puck)

Is it a roast issue or a green issue? (Prospective new roasters; you should read this too!)

Totally agree. The intent of the thread was lost on many. Upside is we now know who the best roasters are

Lifting the Kalita Wave off the cup it sits on fixes the stalling issues?

The ironic thing was that I got the Tsubame stainless steel version of the Wave based on this article; {link} Which indicates that the regular stainless steel Wave has a stalling issue which the Tsubame version addresses and fixes. However - I never got any stalling issues with my normal Wave (and I have never used the draining

SSP Lab Sweet 64mm

I got my df64 ungraded with lab sweet casting burr with a guy and helped me to re-set the zero for me. This is my first electric grinder and therefore things are all new to me. He suggested to do espresso on 18 and pour-over on 50-65. My espresso machine (flair pro 2) choked at even 20 lol, I

George Howell Website Issue

I also couldn't place an order the last two days. I was trying to check out as a guest which is always cumbersome at best. Tried ordering on the phone a few times , then a computer. Couldn't get it to work. I also emailed them and will see if they reply

Turn your espresso machine into a controllable smart device with app/Alexa/Google.

This hack should work with any espresso machine that has a manual flick-up-and-down or spring loaded power switch. I have a Rancilio Pro X. Although it has a built-in timer to turn on the device it is not flexible enough for my needs. For about 10 dollars you can buy a wifi controlled smart power plug that enables you

Lifting the Kalita Wave off the cup it sits on fixes the stalling issues?

I think Mr. Scott Rao already talk about that issue... He add a mesh tea strainer {video}
